Arts Taught at Stanton MMA
Jun Fan Gung Fu
In the early 1960s, Lee Jun Fan (Bruce Lee) put forth a curriculum, blending boxing, wing chun, tae kwon do, and fencing. This curriculum would take on the founders cantonese name, and would prove to be most effective of all the established martial arts. While most arts are known to implement wide stances and rigid blocks as foundation, Bruce found foot work and evasion a more effective means to render size and strength irrelevant.
The Jeet Kune Do Process :
The essence of Jeet Kune Do, lies in its ability to blend ranges "harmoneously" and effortlessly! Because there is no "one" single superior art for every conceivable circumstance...one must be capable of seeking the "superior" art AT THAT MOMENT !!!
